WebMar 16, 2011 · Using the flying geese method assures that you don't have a potentially wonky seam in the center. I generally use that method. Less cutting too. The corners are usually large enough to where I sew a tiny HST and trim it off. This goes in my "mini bin" for future projects (or to share with Rhonda). So no waste at all.
